Lesson Overview
Explain what you / your students will do with the multimedia or information gained from the multimedia. Things to consider: How many days will this lesson take, how will students work (in teams? individually?), how will you distribute the multimedia to the students (will they subscribe on their home computers? school computers? or will you be using portable devices?) See the Instructional Planning
section below.
Tip: As part of whatever assignment you create, you might consider creating a "listening guide" that has questions the students should be answering as they listen to the multimedia. Or, you could have them summarize what they heard and then do something with that info.
Length: two 45 minutes period (computer lab if needed).
Students will work in groups of 3-4.
Presentation will be done on the 3rd day.
Directions: After a presentation made by the teacher on animodo and movie maker students will be able to work on their own presentations to introduce themselves to the rest of the class.
Lesson Directions
List explicit directions to the students that will get them successfully through the lesson
Students will recive training on the technology including digital camara, animodo and movie maker. Students will start the project by planning what kind of information will be included on their presentation and will write a script of the video. Students will spend an hour taking photos and videos for their presentation then students will create a rough draft or storyboard with written information and photos\videos. Students will put up and edit their presentations using peer review and assessment. Final presentation students will show their presentation on smart board to the class and will orally elaborate and answer questions that might come up.
Assessment
How will you be assessing this assignment? Add your rubric here.

Focus on may be only one at a time instead of doing both.
Classroom management and time managment.
Instructional Planning
Preparation
(What student needs, interests, and prior learning provide a foundation for this lesson? How can you find out if students have this foundation? What difficulties might students have?)
Project based on introductions on the first days of school. Students will share any personal information to the class they feel comfortable with.
Management
(How and where will your students work? Classroom, lab, groups, etc?
3-4 groups
Computer lab will be used as necessary
Presentations will be done on smartboard
Differentiation
(How will you differentiate content and process to accommodate various learning styles and abilities? How will you help students learn independently and with others? How will you provide extensions and opportunities for enrichment? What assistive technologies will you need to provide?)
ELL's presentations will be based on graphics
SPED presentions will be graded based on their modifications.
Closure and Reflection
(Will there be a closing event? Will students be asked to reflect upon their work? Will students be asked to provide feedback on the assignment itself? What will be your process for answering the following questions?
• Did students find the lesson meaningful and worth completing?
• In what ways was this lesson effective?
• What went well and why?
• What did not go well and why?
• How would you teach this lesson differently?)
Impact on Student Learning
- How did the multimedia impact student learning?
- What student learning data did you collect?
- Provide student learning data if possible.
